“The news that Jesus was on the way to Jerusalem swept through the city. A large crowd of Passover visitors took Palm branches and went down the road to meet Him. They shouted, “Praise God! Blessings on the One who comes in the name of the Lord! Hail to the King of Israel!” John 12:12-13. (NLT)
We know this as the Triumphal Entry! Jesus fulfills prophecy by entering the city riding on a young donkey! The news of Lazarus was spreading and many people came out to see Him. Jesus knows this is all part of His purpose and He will soon be arrested and crucified.
I’m moved today by the words “Hail to the King!” A reminder to me today that Jesus IS the King! He is King of Kings! His Kingdom will not end, it is eternal. And more for me today, He is MY King!
Hail to the King! Praise His Holy name! Glory and honor be to Him. Hallelujah! Worthy is the King! I exalt Him and glorify His Majesty! He was and is and is to come! There is no one greater!
I pray today that my faith would be strengthened. I pray today for a renewed hope and a greater awareness of His presence in and around me. I pray that His praise will ever be on my lips. Amen.

“So Jesus said to them, “The light is among you for a little while longer. Walk while you have the light, lest darkness overtake you. The one who walks in the darkness does not know where he is going. While you have the light, believe in the light, that you may become sons of light.” When Jesus had said these things, he departed and hid himself from them.”

This speaks to me by declaring a limited time frame to make the most important choice.. follow Jesus now before it’s too late and you remain in darkness.
I wonder if I would have chosen to follow Jesus had I lived in that time. I think it’s easier for us now since we have so many that already follow Jesus! I’m praising God for the light that we see today! ❤️❤️❤️
Amen.
John 12:29
Therefore the people who stood by and heard it said that it had thundered. Others said, “An angel has spoken to Him.”
It amazes me how the people who heard the voice from heaven heard two different things. They heard what they wanted to hear and choose to believe what they wanted to believe. Some said it thundered and others said an angel spoke to Him. This is a reminder to me that I have to be careful what voices I am listening too. Am I leaning in to hear from the voice of God or are am I leaning in to hear from the voice of people? There are so many different voices that are speaking out to us everyday with their own opinions and thoughts. It is even more important now that we are careful about the voices we listen too. We need to ensure those voices are being screened by the Word of God. My prayer is that I will lean in to hear from God through His Word so that I truly know the voices speaking to me. That I ensure that those that are speaking into my life are people who seek God’s Word and not their own.
Amen! May I know and listen to His voice!
Praise God!!!! Blessing on the one who comes in the name of the Lord!!! Hail to the King of Israel!!!
These are the words we speak every Palm Sunday, right before Easter. Then on Easter we Celebrate his amazing resurrection. Thank you Jesus for dying on the cross for our sins.
Amen.
